2016 Experiences and limited time offers
Experience 1 (December 22 - February 7)
Crunchwrap Sliders return to the menu in their 3 varieties; Beefy Cheddar, Spicy Chicken, and BLT.
These were first released this same time in 2015, you can read more about them and their first experience on Grubgrade.
Experience 2 (February 8 - March 9)
The Quesalupa is a new twist on the Chalupa with a fried, pepper jack cheese stuffed shell. This item is filled with seasoned beef, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
The Rockstar Fruit Punch replaced the Starburst Cherry Freeze during this experience. Current rotation at this time: Baja Blast, Starburst Strawberry, and Rockstar Fruit Punch Freezes.
Experience 3 (March 10 - April 20)
In Experience 3, Taco Bell introduced the $1 Breakfast Value Menu which is permanent to the menu now.
This menu includes Grilled Breakfast Burritos, a Mini Skillet Bowl, Sausage Flatbread Quesadilla, Breakfast Soft Tacos, Hashbrowns, and the Cinnabon Delights 2-pack.
Experience 4 (April 20 - June 8)
The Beefy Crunch Burrito makes its way back onto the menu for the 4th time, the Cheesy Double Beef Burrito joins it, and the Doubledilla is made permanent during this experience (eventually being removed from the menu in July 2017).
The Crush Orange Vanilla Float Freeze replaced the Rockstar Fruit Punch Freeze during this experience. Current rotation at this time: Baja Blast, Starburst Strawberry, and Crush Orange Vanilla Float Freezes.
Experience 5 (June 9 - July 13)
Flatbread Sandwiches - Warm, square-cut flatbread, filled with chicken or steak, and a melty three-cheese blend of cheddar, pepper jack, and mozzarella topped off with chipotle sauce and melted.
These were first introduced in 2010, had a Bacon ranch version in 2011, and then we had the Triple Steak Stack in 2011, 2014 and 2015.
Experience 6 (July 14 - August 10)
Taco Bell launched the Crunchwrap Supreme in 2005, at which time it was Taco Bell's most successful product introduction.
The Triple Double Crunchwrap debuts with double layers of seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, and tostada shell. Also released with a spicy option adding jalapenos and spicy ranch sauce.
Experience 7 (August 11 - September 14)
The Cheesy Core Burritos released with 2 versions, the Spicy Cheesy Core Burrito and the Crunchy Cheesy Core Burrito.
The Spicy Cheese Core Burrito features seasoned beef, premium latin rice, sour cream, jalapeno peppers, red sauce, a 3-cheese blend, and nacho cheese sauce.
The Crunchy Cheese Core Burrito features seasoned beef, premium latin rice, sour cream, red strips, red sauce, a 3-cheese blend, and nacho cheese sauce.
Experience 8 (September 15 - October 19)
The Habanero Quesarito is sold in Taco Bell's $5 Big Box gaming promotion giving away Playstation VR Headset. Think of your regular Quesarito, just use habanero sauce instead of Chipotle sauce!
The Airheads White Mystery Freeze replaced the Crush Orange Vanilla Float Freeze during this experience. Current rotation at this time: Baja Blast, Starburst Strawberry, and Airheads White Mystery Freezes.
Experience 9 (October 20 - November 16)
Almost 2 full years after their debut, the Rolled Chicken Tacos release for the second time.
Each feature shredded chicken rolled up in a corn tortilla and deep fried. Available in 2 and 4-packs with your choice of several dipping sauces; spicy ranch, nacho cheese, sals, sour cream, and guacamole.
Experience 10 (November 17 - December 21)
The new Steakhouse Burrito features a double portion of grilled marinated steak, potato Bites, bacon, reduced-fat sour cream, a three cheese blend and a new queso.
Included in the packaging is chips with a cup of the new queso sauce as a side.
The new Steakhouse Nachos feature a large tray of nachos topped with a double portion of marinated steak, sour cream, premium guacamole, Pico de Gallo, new Queso sauce, warm cheese and refried beans.
