2020 Experiences and limited time offers

Experience 1 (December 26 - January 29)

Double Stacked Tacos return for the first experience of 2020 with three flavors: Nacho Crunch, Chipotle Cheddar, and Reaper Ranch. 

Also during this experience Taco Bell gives the fan a Nachos Party Pack, a new $5 Chalupa Box (includes a Chalupa Supreme, one crunchy taco, a Double Stacked Taco, and a medium drink), a $7 Deluxe Box (includes a Steak Chalupa, 5-Layer Burrito, Nacho Cheese DLT, Chips and Nacho Cheese, and a medium drink), and the Doritos Locos Taco is part of happy hour.

The Electric Blue Raspberry Freeze releases during this experience.

Experience 2 (January 30 - March 11)

The Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries are the 7th experience that include Nacho Fries. This is the first time buffalo sauce is on Taco Bell's national menu. The fries are served with buffalo sauce, chicken, shredded and nacho cheese, pico de gallo, and sour cream. This is also available in burrito form.

Continuing during this experience is the Nachos Party Pack as well the third release of the Double Cheesy Gordita Crunch.

Experience 3 (March 12 - April 15)

Taco Bell releases the Triplelupa after multiple tests throughout 2018 and 2019. This item consists of three mini Chalupas connected to one another, each with it's own flavor: nacho cheese, chipotle, and a nacho cheese/chipotle mix in the center. Besides your sauce you get beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and a 3-cheese blend.

Returning this experience is the Grande Burritos as well as Toasted Breakfast Burritos for Taco Bell's breakfast.

Experience 4 (April 16 - May 20)

With the pandemic of COVID-19 in full swing and things shut down, Taco Bell plays is fairly safe this experience with the $5 Chalupa Cravings Box as the main offering. 

Assuming they had these items in production pre-pandemic, we also get the release of the Flamin' Hot Doritos Locos Taco as well as the Wild Strawberry Freeze (to replace the Electric Blue Raspberry freeze).

Experience 5 (May 21 - July 1)

The Nacho Crunch Double Stacked Taco returns for the 3rd time after seeing it the beginning of this year and beginning of 2017.

Taco Bell releases a new $10 Cravings Pack as they promote delivery and drive through during the nationwide lockdown for COVID-19. Includes four Crunchy Tacos paired with four Beefy 5-Layer burritos.

The Pineapple Whipped Freeze joins the lineup during this experience.

Experience 6 (July 2 - August 12)

The Grilled Cheese Burrito releases nationwide after testing late 2019. The GCB consists of beef, rice, three-cheese blend, crunchy red strips, chipotle sauce, and sour cream, with cheese grilled to the outside of the burrito shell. The GCB ends up staying on the menu for the rest of the year.

The Nacho Crunch DST continue for it's 4th experience. The $10 Cravings Pack continues as well.

Experience 7 (August 13 - September 23)

The giant box of nachos returns for the 4th time - welcome $5 Grande Nachos Box. Double portion of beed, refried beans, nacho cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, and a scoop of guacamole.

Taco bell makes deep menu cuts in this experience as well, removing potatoes and red strips as ingredients. Items removed from the menu include: Grilled Steak Soft Taco, 7-Layer Burrito, Nachos Supreme, Beefy Fritos Burritos, Spicy Tostada, Triple Layer Nachos, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, Cheese Potato Loaded Griller, Beefy Nacho Loaded Griller, Chips & Guacamole, Chips and Pico De Gallo, Mini Skillet Bowl.

Joining the Cravings Menu this experience is the Beef Burrito, made of seasoned beef, rice, nacho cheese, and creamy jalapeno sauce.

Experience 8 (September 24 - November 4)

Nearing the end of the year, Taco Bell brings back the Grande Stacker for the 3rd release of a stacker. The Grande Stacker consists of a double portion of seasoned beef, a melted blend of mozzarella, cheddar, and pepper jack cheeses, and warm nacho cheese sauce folded in a warm flour tortilla made into a tri-fold and then grilled.

The Dragonfruit Freeze replaces the Pineapple freeze.

Experience 9 (November 5 - December 23)

Fourteen months after its first release, the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa returns to finish off the 2020 experiences. A Chalupa shell with six-month aged cheddar toasted directly onto it, filled with beef, cheddar cheese, sour cream, tomatoes and lettuce.

Another grouping of menu reductions happens at this time as well, having scrapped more than 25 items and ingredients in the past year. On the chopping block: Mexican Pizza, Shredded Chicken Soft Taco, Shredded Chicken Burrito, Shredded Chicken Quesadilla Melt, and pico de gallo.
