The returning items were part of a menu test in August looking back and celebrating the most
mouth-watering, iconic hits through the decades including the fan-favorite Tostada, Green Burrito, Meximelt, Gordita and Caramel Apple Empanada. The Caramel Apple Empanada will begin November 21 and only be able to be ordered by loyalty/rewards members.

The Crispy Chicken Nuggets tested in Houston, TX in May of 2024. These are made with all-white meat chicken, marinated in a mild jalapeño buttermilk, and breaded in a coating that features crunchy tortilla bits. These nuggets can be paired with two sauces: Taco Bell's signature Bell Sauce, which is a savory and tangy sauce that presents "subtle notes of chili peppers," or Jalapeño Honey Mustard Sauce, which combines sweet honey, spicy jalapeño, and tangy mustard.
