2020 Experiences and limited time offers

Experience 1 (December 26 - January 29)

Taco Bell kicks off the new year with two $1 Grande Burritos. The chicken enchilada version includes shredded chicken, red sauce, seasoned rice, reduced fat sour cream, and shredded cheese. The Three Cheese Nacho features seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, red tortilla strips, reduced fat sour cream, and a three cheese blend.

Returning for the third time for this experience is the Naked Chicken Chalupa, last released during Experience 5 of 2018.

The Orange Cream Pop Freeze returns to replace the Caramel Apple Freeze during this experience. Current rotation at this time: Baja Blast, Orange Cream Pop, and Skittles Strawberry Freezes.

Experience 2 (January 30 - March 11)

A year after the original release, the Nacho Fries are back for the third time. Per usual you can get these with a cup of nacho cheese, or in Supreme and Bellgrande versions.

The Double Cheesy Gordita Crunch comes back for this experience, first released Experience 8 of 2018.

Experience 3 (March 12 - April 15)

The Nacho Fries continue as Taco Bell releases the Steak Rattlesnake Fries and Burrito.

Steak Rattlesnake Fries feature seasoned fries topped with nacho cheese sauce, creamy jalapeño sauce, steak, and pickled jalapeños.

The burrito includes all the same ingredients wrapped in a tortilla.

Experience 4 (April 16 - May 20)

NEW $1 Loaded Nacho Taco features a soft flour tortilla filled with seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, cheddar cheese, and new Southwest Seasoned Chips.

There was also a spicy version, which adds jalapenos.

The Watermelon Freeze with candy seeds returns to replace the Orange Cream Pop Freeze during this experience. Current rotation at this time: Baja Blast, Watermelon, and Skittles Strawberry Freezes.

Experience 5 (May 21 - July 1)

The $1 Loaded Nacho Taco continues during this experience while Taco Bell releases the $5 Grande Nachos Box.

We consider the Grande Nachos Box a second experience for the nachos box, following Taco Bell's Steak Nachos box during Experience 6 in 2018.

These boxes included layers of chips covered in a double serving of seasoned beef or shredded chicken, refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, guacamole, a three-cheese blend, and pico de gallo. Along with the box, a medium drink is included for a grand total of $5 (before tax).

The Grande Nachos Box continues during this experience as Taco Bell brings back the Nacho Fries for the 5th experience.

Experience 6 (July 2 - August 12)

Experience 7 (August 13 - September 23)

The Nacho Fries continue while Taco Bell introduces the new Steak Reaper Ranch Fries and Burrito. These include a new sauce made from the Carolina Reaper Pepper.

The fries are topped with nacho cheese, steak, Reaper Ranch sauce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream.

The burrito includes the same ingredients wrapped into a tortilla.

Experience 8 (September 24 - November 4)

The Triple Double Crunchwrap returns to Taco Bell for the 4th time. Unlike a regular Crunchwrap Supreme, this item features double the beef, double the nacho cheese, and two tostada shells, along with sour cream, lettuce, and tomatoes.

The $5 Box includes the TDC, cinnamon twists, a crunchy taco, and a medium drink.

The Cherry Sunset Freeze arrives to replace the Watermelon Freeze during this experience. Current rotation at this time: Baja Blast, Cherry Sunset, and Skittles Strawberry Freezes.

Experience 9 (November 5 - December 23)

The Toasted Cheddar Chalupa made its debut nationwide September 2019. The inside is pretty similar to a classic Chalupa: seasoned beef, chicken, or steak as a protein, and lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and sour cream on top. The key difference here is that cheddar cheese—a six-month aged cheddar, to be exact—is BAKED into the chalupa shell.
