ChiliCheese.org is Back and Better than Ever
For those who don't know, the Chili Cheese Burrito features chili and shredded cheddar cheese wrapped inside a warm flour tortilla. Taco Bell discontinued the Chili Cheese Burrito at a national level in the mid-to-early 90's due to underperforming sales. Since then it has only been available through select Franchise locations that choose to carry it.
The Chili Cheese Locator was first founded in 2004, completely self-funded by a group dedicated to locating Chili Cheese Burritos, helping others find the greatness that is the Chili Cheese Burrito, and asking Taco Bell to bring it back to a national level. In 2014 the site went offline and as ChiliCheese.org explains,
"Due to life (yes, we actually have them), we each needed to take a short hiatus from the cause".
Luckily for us 5 days ago on November 17, 2017, self-proclaimed National Chili Cheese Burrito Day, the locator came back online and in a fresh new site it is very easy to find the Chili Cheese Burrito closest to you. With this site, users can visit any Taco Bell in the country and then go online to "upvote" or "downvote" whether that Taco Bell carries the Chili Cheese Burrito. On the website, the location will show the burrito if you are able to order the one OR the word "No" if you can't. Locations with a "?" on the map means no one has submitted information on the location yet.
If you want the Chili Cheese Burrito back Nationwide, tweet Taco Bell (@TacoBell) and Taco Bell Support (@TacoBellTeam) letting them know that the people demand the return of the Chili Cheese Burrito. Use the hashtag #ChiliCheeseBurrito.
For your convenience, we made a special spot the locator right here on our website. At any time, you can go over to "Fan Interaction" and click the "Chili Cheese Burrito Locator" and find all the information you need.
