Taco Bell Meal Deals Leaving Soon
How much do you love Taco Bell's Meal Deals? Introduced in May of 2010, the Meal Deals at Taco Bell have been a simple meal that may not fill everyone up but gives you all the necessities. A main item, a drink, and a side. Taco Bell currently offer 4 meals deals that all include a medium drink and a bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos. The 4 different items you can choose from are the Chicken Burrito, Double Decker Taco, Gordita Supreme, or a Beefy 5-layer Burrito.
Get them while you can because after 8 years, Taco Bell is getting rid of them. Forever.
Confirmed from an anonymous source, Taco Bell is trying to simplify their menu by removing the Meal Deals and Doritos Chips. The bags of Doritos Chips can currently be bought as a side item for only $0.99. These items will no longer be offered after Experience 7 which starts July 12, 2018.
Taco Bell restaurants will continue to serve bags of Doritos until they run out of stock from distribution. If they run out before July 12, Meal Deals will be served with chips and cheese.
What will take place of the Meal Deals?
Since the point of this move was to simplify the menu, I don't see anything new taking it's place except for possibly adding more combo meal options. We have also seen a NEW Cravings Menu test as well as a full Naked Chicken Menu. These are both things we could see in the upcoming year.
So enjoy your last month of meal deals. Go out there and help Taco Bell deplete their Doritos!
