Taco Bell commits to staying in its Irvine…
"Taco Bell has extended its lease on its corporate headquarters in Irvine for 11 years, meaning the fast food giant will remain based in Southern California until 2030, according to a news release.
Taco Bell has been in Irvine for more than 40 years and moved into its current home, a sleek five-story office building in the Irvine Spectrum business complex, nearly a decade ago. The street address became 1 Glen Bell Way, named for the man who founded the chain.
About 800 people work in the 180,000-square-foot space, which has on-site childcare, a dry cleaning service, salon and car wash. Facilities include a test kitchen for developing new recipes and a social listening hub called the Fish Bowl."
