Dolly Parton to star in TikTok musical about Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza after menu return

"It's official: Mexican Pizza isn't only returning to Taco Bell's menu, but also making a (virtual) stage debut later this month – with none other than the iconic Dolly Parton.

The country music star shared the news on Instagram Monday – posting a photo of the production's screenplay and writing, "I’m making #MexicanPizzaTheMusical with @TacoBell."

The fast food chain also confirmed the musical, which is set to premiere on TikTok May 26.

"The ultimate encore," Taco Bell wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a Playbill photo for Live Más Productions' "Mexican Pizza: The Musical" surrounded by boxes of the popular (and once long-lost) menu item."
