Taco Bell's 2022 Releases (Updates)

As we get closer and closer to the end of the year, we also get more and more information for what is going on in 2022. This upcoming year is Taco Bell's 60th Anniversary so we expect some big things.

As most of you know we already know Experience 1, we pretty much know Experience 2, and we know the Mexican Pizza will return. If you didn't know these things or want to read more, check out our upcoming LTOs page, which also has most of this new information published now.

If you're already caught up, here's the newest updates:

  • Taco Lover's Pass is coming in E1 (App only): Purchase the pass for $10 to unlock a secret menu category. Here fans can select and redeem 1 taco per day (for 30 days). Tacos include: Crunchy Taco (Regular & Supreme), Soft Taco (Regular & Supreme, DLT (Regular & Supreme), and Spicy Potato Soft Taco

  • In the December - March time period there will be "A Cool DLT Mashup". We know this won't be for E1 so we are expecting it during E2 or E3.

  • March 21, 2022 will be Taco Bell's official 60th Anniversary

  • 'Brunch' mentioned as a subject to hit on in the March - May time frame. Not sure if this means extended breakfast hours or something else

  • Mexican Pizza has been pushed back to the May - June time frame.

  • Both Steal a Game, Steal a Taco AND Steal a Base, Steal a Taco will come back in 2022

  • Nacho Fries return sometime July - October (my personal guess will be sometime in July or August)

  • Rolled Chicken Tacos will return sometime October - December

  • Bringing ourselves back to Experience 1, Taco Bell is transitioning their current Red Strips to new tri-colored Fiesta Strips. These will be featured in Taco Bell's new $2 Burritos.
