Featuring 3 new ingredients, the Forbidden Bowl and Burrito are only available September 14-21, 2017 at one location in Irvine, CA. (2222 Barranca Parkway, Irvine, CA). The 3 new ingredients are a black "forbidden" rice, fried avocado wedges, and "forbidden" sauce.
The Crispy Dipping Burritos were spotted testing in Coon Rapids, MN.
"The dipping burritos are small, kinda like store-bought frozen egg rolls. They're basically shorter, thicker taquitos / rolled tacos from Taco Bell. Offered for dipping sauces are nacho cheese, sour cream, or guacamole. The employee who took my offer also said spicy ranch was a choice, but that was not an option listed on the menu board."
$5 box includes two (2) dipping burritos, 1 crunchy taco, one nacho cheese DLT, and a medium drink (like any LTO box).
Spotted testing again April 5, 2018 in Central Ohio.
These new items are an addition to the Dollar Cravings menu. Taco Bell partners up with Mars Inc. to put Twix inside a tortilla for this new chocolate-carmel dessert, and they partner with Nestle to put KitKat inside a tortilla as well. Testing in Pewaukee, WI as well as other Wisconsin locations.
The Crispy Chicken Caesar Crunchwrap was spotted testing in Mooresville, NC. A small town north of Charlotte, NC. Similar to the Caesar Crunchwrap we saw testing in Ohio exactly a year ago, except this time it's filled with crispy chicken.
The Fajita Fries and Quesadilla were spotted in online surveys late November and are now being tested in the Oklahoma City, OK Taco Bell restaurants.
The $1 Fajita Fries are served with your choice of dip: Spicy Ranch or Nacho Cheese Sauce. The Crispy Fajita Quesadilla is filled with your choice of chicken or steak, along with fajita fries as well as what appears to be three cheese blend and spicy ranch (no confirmation on ingredients and no current prices available)
