The Steak Firecracker fries test in Detroit, MI. These consist of seasoned Nacho Fries topped with grilled marinated steak, nacho cheese sauce, red tortilla strips, cheddar cheese, reduced fat sour cream, sliced jalapenos, and new Firecracker sauce. According to Taco Bell, Firecracker sauce features "a blend of spicy peppers."

Taco Bell's Steak Firecracker Fries are priced at $3.49 per order. You can also get them wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla as a burrito for $2.99.

The $1 Loaded Nacho Taco, originally tested in 2018 and released April 2019, was spotted testing again in the Minnesota test market. This soft taco includes beef, lettuce, shredded cheese, nacho cheese, and red strips. ​

After the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States in 2020, Taco Bell put a halt to putting new items into test markets. During this time with the country on lockdown, restaurants were closed down and ended up becoming drive thru and delivery only. As things began to open back up late Summer of 2020, Taco Bell began to put a limited number of tests back into the market. In 2020 we ended up seeing about 30% of the test items we experience in a normal year.

Found in Fullerton, CA, these come served in a box of five with a side of Spicy Ranch to dip into, coming in at a cost of $4.99 each.

The Grilled Cheese Burrito was a nationwide limited-time offer that was around from July 2 - August 12, 2020. This new version gets a double serving of steak, a double serving of seasoned rice before adding red tortilla strips, creamy chipotle sauce, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, and a blend of three cheeses. And it comes with cheese grilled right onto the outside of the tortilla.

This was the 3rd test for the Beefy Potato Flatbread Taco, first in 2018 and then again in 2019.

The Loaded Chicken Flatbread Taco includes grilled chicken topped with lettuce, tomato, shredded cheddar cheese and avocado ranch sauce. The Beefy Potato Flatbread Taco included ground beef, chipotle sauce and yes, potatoes.
